About us
Hungarian National Dance Ensemble
The Hungarian National Dance Ensemble is one of the largest professional folk dance group in Hungary. Its treasure is the incomparably rich Hungarian folk dance repertoire. As the name reflects, the National Dance Ensemble is a dedicated custodian and interpreter of our national heritage and our thousand-year-old traditions. In addition to preserving Hungarian culture, they consider it an important mission to get to know and respect the culture of the different nationalities living together, which is considered the key to stay, survive and vitalize our culture here in the Carpathian basin.

Welcome to our new home page. I greet you on behalf of the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble. Operating within the organizational framework of the long-standing Honvéd Group, the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, as its name reflects, is the dedicated guardian and perpetuator of our national heritage and millennia-old traditions...I believe that here in the Carpathian Basin, getting to know the traditions of different nationalities, respecting and sharing each other's culture is the key and symbol of our survival. The work of our ensemble and the basis of our stage productions is this original, traditional folk dance and folk music culture, with which we have been trying to provide a lasting experience to our audience for years. We hope to welcome you to our ranks soon!
