The Passion of Csíksomlyó

The story of Jesus compressed into one stretched moment – the joint work of the National Theater and the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble was based on the Franciscan school dramas of the 18th century and Géza Szőcs' Passion. Theatre and dance.  Baroque school dramas and folk songs, contemporary poetry and the Bible. In addition to the harmony of genres, it quietly appeals to the soul. The two-thousand-year-old story that crosses the planes of time, which also answers the questions of the present, calls attention to the power of our Christian faith.
