Heart of Europe

The Heart of Europe brings to the stage a carefully curated repertoire of some of the most beautiful dances from across the Hungarian-speaking regions, with a special emphasis on authenticity and stylistic integrity. The choreography features legendary csárdás dances, Transylvanian and Hungarian Roma dances, the üveges karikázó (Bottle Dance), and, of course, one of the world's most virtuosic men's dances, the legényes. Throughout the performance, audiences embark—if only in spirit—on a journey with the dancers from Rábaköz to Székelyföld, from Sárköz to the Matyó region and beyond.
