WE REMEMBER TATA FERENC NOVÁK WITH SAD HEARTS

It is with deep pain that the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble of the Honvéd Együttes (formerly known as the Honvéd Tancszínház) says goodbye to the legendary, former artistic director, Tata Ferenc Novák, who, as the most prominent figure of today's Hungarian stage folk dance and an artist wholeheartedly committed to Hungarian folklore, converted to his Creator in the 94th year of his life.

His memory will be preserved for a long time by his students, fellow artists and those dancers, choreographers, and folklorists whose art had a decisive significance and enormous influence on their lives and work.

Rest in peace!

We express our sincere condolences to his beloved children, grandchildren, relatives and friends!

On behalf of the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble: artistic director Zoltán Zsuráfszky and professional director Zsuzsa Zs. Vincze
